Firstly, compare each member of the jury and each finalist to a player from last season, in terms of their game play. Dont say u didnt play or dont know it, cos u can go look at the board or ask someone. remember to explain why.
Myself ~ Jill. I would compare myself to Jill because I think we both did play strong games and made it to the Final 3. However, upon getting there, I think there are/were some misperceptions about the both of us and I would definitely like to clear them up, much like she did. We both played the game to get here, and did not mean to intentionally hurt people in the process. I hope I don't suffer the same fate as Jill and end up with 2nd place (That doesn't mean I want 3rd either
).
Peter ~ Anthony. Anthony had a right hand man and so did Peter, and Anthony made it pretty far in the game based on connections he had with others. He wasn't a big liar and wasn't spectacular at challenges, but was a good gameplayer with good social game (at least with those he was aligned with).
Anna ~ Kate. I feel like Anna and Kate both did play pretty good games, however, one thing that they did was start to storytell and and make people dislike them towards the end. I feel like both were strategic players, however, both were sort of disliked by a lot of people in the game once it hit the later stages and they "revealed their true colors". They were put in the position of having a target on their back because of their own actions, not because people saw them as a threat.
Eva ~ Kirby. I felt like both kind of gave up on the game and were people that could have done pretty well if they put their all into it and communicated a little more with the people that they were playing against.
Jack ~ Charlie. Jack reminds me a bit of Charlie; they got the same placement, both were a "Killer", and both had done good up to that point in the game to make it that far, and then kind of fizzled out. Although Jack was a little bit like Ross in that he self-voted the round he was voted out and it was due to partying, I wouldn't compare him to Ross.
Selene ~ Sidney. Now, Selene did not make it as far as Sidney or win the game, but Selene definitely reminded me a bit of Sidney. She made the social connections to advance herself in the game and was sliding through unrecognized as a much larger threat than she actually was. Had Selene made it to say, Final 6, I think she would have stood a great shot at taking the title.
Lawrence ~ Casey. This has nothing to do with personality, because Casey was loud, blunt, and opinionated. While Lawrence is not one who is shy to give his opinion (see his Jury questions), Lawrence is much more mellow than Casey. However, the thing with both of them was that once merge hit (and even somewhat before merge hit), both gave off the aura of being a threat in competitions and therefore the game. They both lacked the social connections necessary to back them up and were a target for that, and so the only way to truly advance in the game for them would have been immunity or idols because of the picture people painted of them.
Eric ~ Trevor. Trevor was out somewhat mid-game, but the thing with Trevor was he was a very genuine person. He pretty much told you how he felt and was an all-around nice guy, and Eric was the same way. Both were extremely friendly, but a bit misunderstood, and unfortunately both ended up on a side which lacked the numbers needed to allow them to advance in the game.
Micah ~ Gale. Micah and Gale were both voted out in a round where idols played a big role - whether they were played or not. Gale was someone that was loyal to the end if she was truly on your side, and Micah was the same way. They were with their alliance, ride or die. And they didn't ever shift when it came to that.
Stefan ~ Dewey. This may seem extremely odd considering Dewey was out so early on, but Dewey was someone that was voted out prematurely, and some would say "unfairly". He left the game before a lot of people expected him to, and he also left in what seemed like a "wrong choice". Both had a good personality and seemed to be someone people liked, but both were voted out in an unexpected manner.
Abby ~ Trudie. Once again not quite the same attitude wise, but I would say that they were both "quieter" when compared to some of the other players in their season. However, it turns out both had connections that would get them further in their game, which could have came as a surprise to some.
John ~ Ross. I feel like both actually did have to fight to stay in the game; for whatever reason, both had a target on their backs. John wasn't someone people were constantly gunning for, but John was mentioned to be voted out by a lot of people. However, through his connections with others, John managed to advance himself through the game. However, in the end, his alliances (or some of them) chose someone else they were aligned with over him, much like Ross.
Reasons Anna should or would win over me are that people might take what I did personally and misinterpret what I say or did as cocky or arrogant, and therefore she seems like a strategic enough player to award their vote to since she did make strategic moves. She might receive votes because people think she pitted one side against another; however, with her immune, that was inevitable. If people appreciate someone who won challenges, they may also reward her with their vote for that.
On the other hand, I think Peter should win over me if the jurors value a completely honest game. He did make it to the end playing the game relatively clean and without telling too many lies, definitely not as much as me and Anna did. He stuck true to those he gave his word to and advanced himself in the game by staying true to his allies, without having to get too much blood on his hands, which is smart if you think the Jury may vote personally.
Eva - [+] Had a connection with one of the strongest players in the game (John). / [-] Lost interest in the game and I think "gave up" unofficially.
Jack - [+] Was one of two only active people from his original tribe, and managed to still advance to the Jury stage of the game through his competitive drive. / [-] Partied too much at the wrong times
and did not talk much once merge hit.
Selene - [+] Although did not stick around to the endgame to show it, was a strong enough presence in the time that she was here to prove that she was both a strategic and social threat and knew how to play this game. / [-] Put too much trust in others when she shouldn't have.
Lawrence - [+] Was a great player when it came to competitions and giving them his all. / [-] Unfortunately, this was also his downfall (combined with the fact that he did not make enough social connections to get himself ahead). The same positive he had made him a threat to people, so it also served as a negative.
Eric - [+] Like I said above, one of the more genuine people in the game. He definitely isn't afraid to speak his mind and tell you how he really feels, and is someone that seems very true to himself and others. / [-] Unfortunately, much like Lawrence, his strength is his weakness to me. Because he is so genuine, he is a more emotional person and thus is too open with some of the people he is playing with when he should really try to keep his cards hidden from them and maybe not tell how he feels so openly so as to advance his game.
Micah - [+] Very loyal and trustworthy, which would allow those he gave his word to in return trust in him and want to take him to the end. / [-] Lacking social connections with some of those outside of his alliance, and also not being around to hand the idol to.
Stefan - [+] Developed solid alliances with those that trusted him the most and is one of those people that is extremely hard not to like because he does not have an offsetting personality and contains his emotions and feelings rather well. Is definitely a player who plays strategically rather than emotionally, which is always great. / [-] Definitely had a case of bad luck
as luck does play a big role in Survivor. Also, I think he could have performed better in challenges and may have been able to change his fate.
Abby - [+] Developed connections and made moves (however subtle) to get yourself ahead in the game when you needed to most -- Ex) Bonding with Anna and being a vote with her til you were voted out and making the decision to vote out Selene. / [-] Bad timing for you, and as a result could have communicated more with a lot of the people in the game and probably would have fared a lot better than you did.
John - [+] Definitely a very strong player all around; socially, strategy wise, and "physically" or in challenges. He is one of those people that you might want out but would have a hard time getting out because he has a few people that would have his back. / [-] Sometimes comes off (I guess like myself) as a little rude or arrogant, when in fact I don't think he means it that way at all. Also, if what he said is true, then I guess taking himself out of the game in essence would be a downfall to me rather than making it a tie and going for the win.
Thanks Abby! Sorry it took forever to get to your questions, and thanks for being patient.
